01What cookies are
Cookies are small records a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work at all, others tell us how it is used. We always use the first kind, and the second only if you allow it.
02Essential cookies
Sport2GO does not work without these, so we do not ask for consent and they cannot be turned off.
- Sign-in and session — keeps you signed in and recognised across pages. Valid for 30 days.
- lang — the language you picked. Valid for one year.
- s2g_consent — your cookie choice, when you made it, and which set of scripts you were asked about. Valid for one year.
03Analytics
We load analytics only if you allow it. Until you do, nothing is loaded and nothing is recorded — not even cookies.
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) — how many people visit each page and where they come from. The data is aggregated and we do not use it for advertising. The _ga and _ga_<measurement id> cookies last two years by default.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.) — where people get stuck. Clarity also records session replays: pointer movement, clicks and scrolling. Passwords and the contents of input fields are masked. It sets _clck and _clsk, plus Microsoft’s CLID, MUID, MR, ANONCHK and SM; Microsoft does not publish their lifetimes, and describes them in its documentation.
Neither is used for cross-site tracking. We have no advertising or marketing cookies. If we ever add any, that will be a new category and we will ask for your consent again.
04Changing your choice
At any time, with one click. When you switch analytics off we delete its cookies and reload the page so that it really stops. Your choice is valid for one year, after which we ask again. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
05In the mobile app
The iOS and Android apps display the same website, so the same rules and the same consent question apply. Because the app has its own storage, separate from your browser, it will ask you once more on first launch even if you have already answered on the web.
